RCA Royal College of Art
Begin of the work for the college through documentary fotos.
I pitched to the college a concept for college films to present all of the colleges programmes to future students. It was a documentary approach with focus on the students and their works. It was accepted and over the next years I took +300 interviews creating +50 films portraying an entire generation of artists, designers, engineers, architects, makers, phd students, sometimes faculty and highlights of the final show.

Sculpture programme commissions |
One of the beautiful encounters at the RCA was with the Head of Sculpture Programme OBE Richard Wentworth. His work, his approach in teaching and all of his interactions were deeply human and full of inspiration. I ended up creating two 30 min film projects and then working on individual projects with students and alumni.
Two parts documentation of the interaction and collaboration between sculpture students at the RCA and visiting high school students of the concord academy USA. Show case of the performances and Studie of the different pedagogical approaches of choreographer Richard Colton and Head of Sculpture Programm Richard Wentworth.
This second film was commissioned by the American Concord Academy High School following the students into their own exam show performance.

INNOVATION RCA |
Innovation RCA is a start up incubator for RCA alumni helping them to bring their products or innovative ideas to market. My films helped to communicate the approach and opportunities to future alumni, again based on existing projects and start ups.

Karen Alexander
Karen Alexander was senior tutor at the RCA's Curating Contemporary Art Department. She co-created, organised and maintained the Inspire Programme, an entire second pathway with very little support of the RCA. Inspire had a different approach in that its students were recruited from a diverse back ground and it was a work based pathway with alternating periods of working for a gallery, museum or art institution. It was hard for the students to do both - the college based work and the work at the institutions, but all of them excelled and went on to do great things.
